Included are panoramas of the city, streets, squares, courtyards of the old town, churches, palaces, and their interiors, revealing other equally interesting sightseeing routes through Vilnius and its suburbs\u2014Antakalnis, \u0160nipi\u0161k\u0117s, Luki\u0161k\u0117s, and \u017dv\u0117rynas, including the present-day Vingis Park. The photographic journey concludes with images of the city's most important sanctuaries\u2014the Cathedral and the adjacent square.
\nThe book presents invaluable photographs for researchers of the city's past, capturing structures and quarters that no longer exist or have been destroyed by historical events and ideological circumstances.
