Today, it consists of seven branches - the communities of Šiauliai, Kaunas, and Panevėžys, as well as the sections of Dzūkija, Žemaitija, and Telšiai, along with the Republican Board and the Vilnius branch. Creative individuals of different ages and backgrounds gather in sections dedicated to textiles, knitting, applied carving, weaving, sculpture, graphics, painting, ceramics, blacksmithing, jewelry, and traditional art. Most members have been granted the status of artists, and their works are marked with the national heritage symbol. The Folk Artists' Union supports active artistic activities by promoting their creativity, assisting in organizing exhibitions, and encouraging older generation masters to pass on their experience to the younger generation. Today, there is much to show and be proud of, so it was meaningful to organize an exhibition at the Lithuanian National Museum to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Lithuanian Folk Artists' Union. The publication presents the catalog of the anniversary exhibition.

Fifty Years to the Lithuanian Folk Artist's Union.
